Real Food for Real Kids is the name of our catering company who provides healthy, delicious, child-friendly meals, and snacks to our children.  RFRK provides seasonal menus that are developed and approved by registered dieticians, that work on a one week rotation, and also meet Canada Food Guide requirements, the AQI (City of Toronto criteria) and CCEYA (Ministry of Education) requirements.  The RFRK facility is 100% nut-free, pork-free and shellfish-free.

The children at PRCC are provided with a morning and afternoon snack (as well as a late snack for those present at 5 pm) AND a hot lunch, daily.   ALL centre food is provided by the catering company, which means that outside food is not permitted in order to comply with our Anaphylactic Policy and Procedures.  Nutritious food substitutions are provided by the caterers for children who may have allergies, religious or cultural restrictions.  Allergy-free meals are prepared in a separate area by a Red Seal Chef, and provided to the centre by RFRK.  RFRK can accommodate most allergies, multi-allergy requests and religious and dietary restrictions.

Special menu items and meals are served to reflect various holidays & theme days.
